ADHRB Solemnly Commemorates the 11th Anniversary of 9/11

Americans for Democracy and Human Rights in Bahrain (ADHRB) solemnly commemorates the 11th anniversary of the attacks that claimed nearly 3,000 lives on September 11, 2001. ADHRB offers its condolences to the family and friends of the victims of these attacks, and to the many service members who lost their lives trying to protect American from further harm. ADHRB also expresses its gratitude to the many first responders who risked–and in some cases, lost–their lives trying to save others. ADHRB also wishes to thank the thousands of men and women stood up to protect our country following the 9/11 attacks.

Eleven years ago, in the face of wretched violence and hatred, Americans put aside their differences and came together to prove to the world just how indomitable and indestructible the American spirit is. ADHRB urges all Americans to recall that purposeful commitment to this country’s ideals of freedom and democracy, and calls on the US Government to support the aspirations of millions of people around the world who seek freedom and democracy in their own countries.
